DeFi that feels like ordinary finance

Werk gives crypto-friendly businesses payments, payroll and treasury on crypto rails, simple enough for a team that has never opened a wallet. The job was to keep blockchain power and remove blockchain anxiety.

What I did

Mapped how finance teams actually pay people and vendors, then hid wallets, gas and signatures behind familiar banking patterns
Payment, invoicing and settlement flows that read like a bank, not a block explorer
Payroll and recurring transactions with clear states, approvals and roles
Corporate wallets and asset management a CFO can read at a glance
Onboarding that takes a team from sign-up to first payment without crypto vocabulary

How

I started from the jobs of a finance lead, not from the protocol. Every on-chain step was matched to a familiar banking moment and tested with people who had never held crypto. The design system was built alongside the product and grew with it, so every new flow shipped faster than the last.

The world's first blockchain carbon registry for a government

A6 Labs builds and runs national carbon registries for governments under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, with every credit issued and tracked on-chain. The platform now serves several countries; the first launch was Zimbabwe. As Lead Designer I owned the product, the brand and everything client-facing, turning climate policy into tools that ministries, project developers, auditors and buyers use without a manual.

What I did

National carbon credit registry for the Government of Zimbabwe, aligned with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement
Platform for project developers, auditors and credit buyers: certification, issuance, transfer and retirement across the full credit lifecycle
Role-based admin for regulators, issuers and verifiers, each with their own view of the same credit
Design system and component library for the whole product line
Company rebrand, corporate and client sites, pitch decks for A6 Labs and its clients

How

I worked from the regulation outwards: Article 6 rules, registry requirements and who signs off at every step. Each credit status became a visible, auditable state, so a ministry official and a project developer read the same screen the same way.

WhiteBIT is the largest crypto exchange in Europe, founded in Ukraine. I worked on the web product and the mobile apps: the account, wallet, markets and security screens people use every day.

What I did

KYC redesign integrating Diia, Ukraine's national digital ID and e-signature

UI across home, notifications, Markets, Wallet, WhiteBIT codes and settings
Improvements in the iOS and Android apps

How

I worked inside a large product team with an established design system: shipping fast within its rules, and standing up for the user where a flow cost them trust, above all around identity and money.

Approach

How I work, from a messy domain to a shipped system.

Regulation, actors, edge cases and whatever already exists go on one board. In Web3 and climate the domain is the hard part, so I start there, not with screens.

Jobs to be done become user flows and a shared definition of done. Agreeing on the problem is cheaper than redrawing screens.
